It is quite a spectacular coastline but on the day we visited the sea was relatively calm so the bufones were just making an angry sound and were not ejecting water. You can drive all the way down a dirt track to park near the main bufone read hole in the ground that spews sea water when the waves crash into a cave below your feet.

Does this place or activity allow pets? You may not see the plume of spray that is so iconic needs certain tide conditions and particular weather. The Playa de Guadamia takes its name from the river that flows here into the sea but you will also find it under many more names, like for example Playa de Cuerres or Playa de Llames from the villages that surround it. At the end of this jump, we can also hear a horrifying sound that makes us believe that the cliff really moves under our feet.
